The Strength In Heels event is an event to raise money for the Fort Gary Women’s Resource Centre, a local Winnipeg resource centre for women in need. There will be raffle prizes, drinks, and music DJ’d by the radio station Energy 106.1 on March 8th 2014.

The Strength in Heels event is the first event thrown by its founders Alex Torcolacci and Ellie Schwartz. The goal of the event is to create a fun and safe environment to promote the campaign against domestic abuse. The proceeds of this event will be given to the Fort Gary Womens Resource Centre (FGWRC).

We will be selling two different types of tickets for the event. There will be a $15.00 ticket that allows you entry to the event. The other ticket will be sold at $20.00 where 100% of the proceeds go to the FGWRC.
