Last night, HBO aired a documentary centered around the pioneering (and dare we say, badass) feminist leader Gloria Steinem as part of the on-going doc series "In His/Her Own Words". In honor of the doc, the daily web series "The Morning After" on Hulu.com featured a segment on Steinem that included clips from "In Her Own Words". In addition to the on-air segment, "The Morning After" also compiled a list of TV's most awesome—but, sadly, fictional—feminists. Tina Fey's alter ego Liz Lemon, the "Parks and Recreation" fearless leader Leslie Knope and even Patty Mayonnaise from the hit '90s Nickelodeon show "Doug" made the cut. What do you think about this list? Is Liz Lemon still a positive feminist figure, or is her work-over-appearance schtick getting old? I mean, really, can we STILL not have it all?
