Luludi Living Frames was created in 2011 by Liza Fiorentinos (a Greek-American) who had just returned from 15 years in Paris working in the corporate world for CNN and CNBC. She decided to leave corporate behind and launch a business to bring nature indoors, having been artistically inspired by the living walls all over Paris. She created twists on classic terrariums by infusing her creations with lavender, rose, new age crystals and zodiacs. After 2 years managing an online store (both on luludi.net and Etsy), a cart in Roosevelt Field Mall, and street festivals, she decided to open a small brick and mortar shop in Astoria, Queens (the new Williamsburg). Liza teaches classes every 2 weeks there and is designing her shop as a destination for anyone who wants to have give or receive a little spot of green in their life!
