Oakland has issues!

Celebrate the 1 year anniversary of the most charming neighborhood newsstand in all of the Bay Area. Run by my bff, the lovely Noella M Teele, and her boo, Joe, Issues is a neighborhood newsstand and culture shop featuring magazines and newspapers from all over the world as well as a carefully selected stock of books, CDs, LPs, cassettes, art, jewelry, gifts, and more! Stop by the shop this Sunday to wish them a happy birthday! There will be food, a raffle, and complimentary beverages from Speakeasy Brewery. So come ready to party! Raffle ticket distribution begins at 3pm, and you must be present at 4pm to win.

Happy birthday Issues!

Brevity
Brevity explores the intersection of man-made processes and materials with forms taken from the natural world. The acrylic pieces, cast and then cut, contrast with the forging and etching of their stainless steel counterparts. The pieces' simple shapes and materials complement both quiet and vibrant ensembles.
