How do I participate as a vendor?
1. Fill out our online vendor application, which can be found here. Applications will only be accepted online and must be submitted by Tuesday October 11, 2011.
2. Pay the non-refundable £5 application fee. If you are accepted as a vendor, your application fee will be used as a deposit towards your booth fee; if you are not accepted, your deposit will not be refunded.
3. If you do not have a website where we may view samples of your products, please email three images of your products to
firstname.lastname@example.org. We will notify all applicants of their status on October 18, 2011.
How will the vendors be determined?
Due to space limitations, vendors will be selected on the basis of quality and uniqueness of wares, as well as to gather a good mix of products.
What type of booths will be provided?
Your booth fee of £70 will get you one table, approx 6ft by 3ft, and two chairs. You can also apply for a half-table space, 3ft bt 3ft, at a cost of £45. There may be a small amount of floor-standing rack space around your table, but there is no guarantee of this. Please note space requirements on your application. Booth fees will be accepted online.
Can I share a table?
Yes. For an extra cost of £20 (a total table cost of £90), two vendors can share a table and apply together in the same vendor application. We charge extra for this because of the web space you will receive on BUST.com. When you come to pay for your spot, payments of £45 each can be made individually online.
What kind of crafts do you accept?
We're looking for any and all edible/wearable/loveable crafts you've got. That includes silk-screened items, cosmetics, knitwear, jewellery, paper goods, handbags, cards and tons more!
How will set-up and closing operate?
Vendors can arrive at York Hall from 10:30am on Sunday November 27, but must arrive no later than 11:30am. A table plan will be supplied on arrival. Vendors must be ready to begin sales promptly at 12pm, and cannot close before 6pm. Is electricity provided?Yes, but please outline your needs on the application form.
Do I need a vendors permit?
You are responsible for registering your small business and collecting tax for the items you are selling. How will BUST Magazine's Summer Craftacular be promoted? BUST Magazine's Christmas Craftacular will be promoted with postcards, posters, e-mail blasts to local and national mailing lists, press releases, advertising placement on craft websites and listings in local press. BUST will also provide all vendors with banner ads to help get the word out as far as possible.
What kinds of information will be listed on BUST Magazine's Craftacular website?
In addition to the online vendor application and FAQs, BUST Magazine's Christmas Craftacular website will list all participating vendors. Once you are notified of your acceptance, please provide us with gif or jpeg banner of your craft company logo. Banner ads should be 120 pixels wide x 60 pixels tall. Banners may animate, but cannot be in flash format. No java script. Please keep banner under 50k. And be sure to let us know where to link the banner. Banner ads should be emailed to email@example.com as soon as you have been accepted.
