What is the BUST Magazine Craftacular?
The BUST Craftacular is NYC’s longest-running indie craft fair. From knitwear and jewelry to home décor and specialty foods, the BUST Craftacular is the one-stop shop for the very best in handmade gifts and wares. This is the fifth year that the World Maker Faire will host the BUST Craftacular at their New York event.
What is World Maker Faire?
World Maker Faire is a newfangled outdoor fair that brings together science, art, craft, engineering, and music in a fun, energized, and exciting public forum. The family-friendly event showcases the amazing work of all kinds of makers and celebrates the DIY spirit! For more information about World Maker Faire New York, visit makerfaire.com.
When and where does World Maker Faire New York take place?
World Maker Faire New York will take place over two days: Saturday, September 20th and Sunday, September 21st. The fair is located at the New York Hall of Science (47-01 111th Street) in Flushing Meadows, Corona Park, Queens, New York. For detailed directions, visit makerfaire.com.
Do I need to purchase a World Maker Faire ticket to visit the BUST Magazine Craftacular?
Yes. Since this BUST Craftacular is part of the World Maker Faire, attendees will need to purchase a World Maker Faire ticket in order to attend the Craftacular. Tickets are on sale here.
How do I apply to be a vendor?
Vendor applications for BUST Craftacular @ World Maker Faire are now closed, but applications for the BUST Holiday Craftacular Brooklyn are now open here.
What if I have to drop out of the Craftacular? What is your refund policy?
If you have to cancel, you can receive a 50% refund until Thursday, September 4th. After that date, no refunds will be issued. All refunds will be issued less a $20 non-refundable jurying fee. This fee covers the administrative costs of jurying the hundreds of applications we receive for each Craftacular.
How can I help?
We welcome all volunteers wanting to help spread the word about the BUST Magazine Craftacular! Promotional materials will be posted on the BUST Magazine Craftacular website closer to the event. Please contact World Maker Faire directly if you are interested in being part of their volunteer street team or helping out with the event in another capacity.
