Summer is well on its way and I might be falling victim to the annual frenzied, half-assed attempt to tone all the soft parts of my body. As automatic as my reaction is, I check myself: I must remember that I don’t have to be a size 4 to dress appropriately for the weather. I must remember that I dress for me and no one else.

Unfortunately, women are bombarded by all these gross magazines that insist we get fit for summer because everyone will be looking at us at the beach! Forget about wearing what makes you happy. If people don’t like it, get rid of it or cover it up! Such articles may as well be called, “Here are 10 exercises you can do at home instead of stuffing your fat face that will make your body legitimate enough to wear a bathing suit.” Or “Two superfoods that will burn fat!” Or “How to get a bikini-worthy body!” (That last one is a real article, by the way.) Screw all of that!

It’s not all bad, though. The Huffington Post is on our side, ladies! Check out this neat-o chart, revealing a new set of criteria to determine if we're "worthy" of two-pieces.

So, the real way to get a bikini body? The answer: put on a bikini.
