But you make a good point, getting rid of the word altogether would be a step in the direction towards complete acceptance of one another.
Why a Woman's Razor Costs More Than a Man's, and Other Fun Facts	N/A	Hi everyone, this is the blogger Tessa, and I'd like to address a few of these comments. First of all, regarding the examples of razors I used in the pictures: I undermined my point by not researching these examples, and for that I apologize. Gender pricing does exist, and women do get screwed over, and I should have made sure I used the correct pictures as examples of this, because not doing so makes the whole blog questionable. And that sucks, because it's about a very important and real issue that deserves attention. As a new blogger, I made a careless mistake that I will make sure not to make again. But, when a man's product costs more than a woman's for no apparent reason, it shows that gender pricing works both ways, and that's not cool either. Let me be clear, in the big picture women are the ones getting the shaft, but any time that men and women are subjected to different expectations for no reason than to keep them in separate and unequal boxes, we all lose. That's why feminism is for all of us, and a really great tool to use to understand our society. Second of all, about this blog being a paraphrase of the Marie Claire article. It's actually a paraphrase of that article, AND a New York Times article. So it does contain information that is not in Marie Claire. Please remember that blogs are shorter than the articles in our magazines, and the point of them is to bring awareness of what's going on in the world to our readers. If Marie Claire wrote a bulletin (as they call it) referring their readers to a BUST article, I would be thrilled. We are all in this together, and it was my pleasure to refer people to a great article. Let's keep the bigger picture in mind, and work together!
