Damn. OK then; the site is called Hendrix Cat, not because Im some sad sixties chick with a Jimi fixation but because starting up a blog was a spur of the moment thing and the cat (who is called Hendrix) happened to jump on the table before Id had a chance to come up with a really good name.

Of course the fact that the cat is called Hendrix does make me sound like some sixties chick with a Jimi fixation If I say that I dont wear tie-dye does that make me sound any better? I go to work in my pyjamas most days but thats ok because I work from home.

Im a graphic designer which is really just a fancy way of saying that I add gradient shading to pretty much everything in sight. I also do copywriting and research for all sorts of projects which sounds very boring but isnt, because Im basically nosey and like to know everything about anything.

I live with the cat (obviously) and my boyfriend/partner/whatever you call someone youve been with for eleven years. I call him by his first name. Sometimes I call him something insulting but thats usually because Im in a bad mood.

F is a musician/producer and he also works from home (although not in his pyjamas) which means that the house is usually full of weird and wonderful noises.

It also means that the house is full of guitars, amplifiers, computers and effects pedals. At the last count I think it was three amps, six computers, twelve guitars and goodness knows how many effects pedals but I dont really keep track anymore.

I dont write about my job, I sometimes write about Fs job, and I never write about the cat. Anything else depend on my mood.
