In January I booked myself a photo shoot with Sophie to celebrate my 33rd birthday and it was a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful experience. I began communicating with Sophie about a month or so in advance and she was flexible about timing, dates and offered me a lot of really good advice about wardrobe to bring, etc.
I was very happy that her studio is so close to public transportation - I hate getting lost and I don't live in NYC.
When I arrived at her studio she was 100% ready for me. I thought that her professionalism was remarkable and she immediately made me feel comfortable. We went through a ton of different pin up girl poses and I got to choose ones that spoke to me. I did some in my comfort zone and also did some that were really sexy - she was up for anything.
Her make up and styling skills are awesome! When I saw the end result I was blown away. Is that really me? So so glam.
I got a great selection of shots and I love the corrections she made with photoshop. She is an artist on so many levels.
It was indeed a very empowering experience for me and I can't wait to do another one with her!
Thank you, Sophie - keep up the good work.
