Target’s newest collaboration has us itching to raid the kid’s section. Aptly titled Kid Made Modern, the collection is a real departure for Target’s designer partnerships. Kid Made Modern is the brainchild of Todd Oldham, friend of and sometime photographer for BUST, and it’s a collection of art supplies and craft kits that are intended for youngins but are cool enough for the post-pubescent, too.
Kid Made Modern offers supplies for artists in a variety ... Read More

With Earth Day fast approaching, the internet is all abuzz with sustainable crafts designed with our beloved planet in mind. We're all taught at a young age how reduce and reuse should come before recycle, but somewhere along the way I think a lot of us forget the first two. Here are a few projects that reuse former trash. They are so simple, the laziest person in the world (yours truly) can do them, so you have no excuse. C'mon. Don't you love your Mother ... Read More

The cross stitches found at DefiantDamsel's Etsy shop are a hilarious collection of pop culture gems. There's nothing like embroidery to lend a quaint charm to a filthy "Heathers" quote. You can get the pattern and stitch it yourself, or if you're craft-challenged like me (clumsy sausage-finger hands and no attention span) you can buy the finished product in a frame. I think Joel McHale would look great in my den.

Tatty Devine (founded by Rosie Wolfenden and Harriet Vine) has become famous in England for their witty, offbeat designs, often made out of Perspex (a type of lightweight, durable acrylic). The brand's arty wares can be found in shops ... Read More

It's no secret that we love some quality arts and crafts here at BUST. We'll take embroidery hoops, knitting needles, and paper mache over just about anything else. What's even better than DIY-ing for fun, though, is putting your crafty skills to good use! Danish artist Hanne Bang is spearheading a project called "In A War Someone Has to Die," which is a transnational effort to unite women against a common enemy: war. Bang seeks to collect handkerchiefs ... Read More
