Julia Louis-Dreyfus appears on the most recent cover of Rolling Stone Magazine wearing nothing but the preamble of the U.S Constitution - and perhaps a little more. Despite the misprinted John Hancock signature sitting right above Louis-Dreyfus's luminescent derriere, the image itself is rather shocking. At first I was a bit skeptical about the productiveness of Louis-Dreyfus's unexpected nudity, especially the photograph of a white-wigged fellow tattooing her ... Read More

Last night was one of those moments in music history you'll always wish you'd been there for. Nirvana was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in their first year of eligibility by R.E.M.'s Michael Stipe. An all-female lineup, Lorde, St. Vincent, Kim Gordon, and Joan Jett, joined Nirvana to cover their biggest hits. On top of that, the event was open to the public in New York City for the first time. And yes, that is an accordion in bassist Krist ... Read More

Yoko Ono's newest video for her track "Bad Dancer" is what all music videos should aspire to be: part funky-fresh music, part all-star dance-party, part totally WTF-worthy. It's essentially what would happen if a bunch of kickass musicians got together for a high school art project.

Rolling Stone has Tina Fey, Tracy Morgan, and Alec Baldwin on the cover of it's January edition. The colorful set up includes Tracy Morgan and Alec Baldwin both costumed as Superman and Superboy respectfully, and Tina Fey as Lois Lane. (Lets not even start on the derogatory choice of portraying Tracy Morgan as Superboy.) Alec Baldwin is supporting her as they fly through the air arm in arm. This set up seems strange especially when the cover piece is titled, ... Read More

Rolling Stone broke the news yesterday that Against Me! singer Tom Gabel is currently transitioning from male to female. The first openly transgendered rock star, Gabel plans to begin the process soon and will eventually take the name Laura Jane Grace. Gabel is speaking frankly about the tenuous position she is in, saying "I'm going to have embarrassing moments, and that won't be fun. But that's part of what talking to you is about - is hoping people will ... Read More

One of our fave photographers, Aliya Naumoff, is in the MTV Canada spotlight and we are lovin' it. You've definitely seen her work in the pages of BUST, including a classic portrait of Kathleen Hanna for a past music issue. She has also done work with Rolling Stone, Nylon, Vice and The New York Times, including poignant portraits whose sales went to benefit victims of the Haitian earthquake.
MTV gave our girl their full "cool ... Read More
