When wandering the seemingly endless world of Tumblr and fashion blogs there tends to be a never ending ocean of pictures displaying stick-thin, model looking girls and and an overall lack of diversity in size. Curve Appeal (http://curveappeal.tumblr.com) is a blog, which argues, curves are beautiful too! Many of the pictures are self-submitted by readers, along with their measurements or are found images that have made their way on to the site. ... Read More

You know her from the Best American Erotica series, or from the Herotica series. Maybe you know her from the Audible show, In Bed with Susie Bright. But you know her and she's influenced your life and the world you've grown up in whether you know it or ... Read More

Ima gotta admit–I think the world was a better place before this series of books and movies came out. OK, maybe I should limit it to the movies since I haven't read the books, and obviously that means just the first two since the hornet one is yet to arrive on our shores, but I can't imagine how augmenting my knowledge of this trilogy would change my mind. I was going to hold off on passing judgment until the third one came out, but with the the ABC News ... Read More

Sarah Palin's address last month at an anti-choice breakfast caused a huge ruckus for her liberal use of the word "feminist." (Interesting who didn't seem to notice.) Folks everywhere questioned this claim, but I think Meghan Daum hit the nail on the head here in pointing out that Ms. P. is well within her rights. Think what you will of her politics, you gotta hand it to the lady; she's galvanized support from an enormously disenfranchised ... Read More
