David O. Russell, director of Silver Linings Playbook and The Fighter, delivers another smash with his new film, American Hustle. The film takes place in the 1970s, following an eager FBI agent (Bradley Cooper) who is reluctantly aided by two con artists (Christian Bale and Amy Adams) on a quest to expose corruption in Camden mayor Carmine Polito’s (Jeremy Renner) inner circle.
Performed by an all-star cast, American Hustle ... Read More

A middle school era photo of Jennifer Lawrence, the woman we love to love, surfaced on the Internet yesterday. "Miloblue2," an alleged former classmate of Lawrence, added the caption: "She hasn't changed much since."
This nostalgia-inducing lunchroom (?) pic is pretty much making my day. What do you think?

At the recent London premiere for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, everyone’s fantasy celeb BFF Jennifer Lawrence was spotted comforting a crying child who was sitting behind a security barrier. Hugs and cheering ensued, and everybody collectively named J-Law the best human in the world forever.
Watch this endless GIF of the scene (because I KNOW YOU WANT TO), and check out the full video below.

A few months back, a radio show contacted BUST to ask if one of our staffers would be interested in going on air to discuss misogyny in the James Bond series. A loud cricket noise echoed throughout the office—nobody had watched more than one or two of the flicks. That is, nobody but me. See, I’ve watched nearly every James Bond movie ever made, aside from some of the ones during the Roger Moore years (thumbs-down, no ... Read More

In case you’ve been in hiding in a cabin in the mountains, you know that there have been films made based on Suzanne Collin’s The Hunger Games trilogy. Vanity Fair released new photos featuring stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Helmsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, and Sam Claflin, each dressed in attire from the second movie in the series, Catching Fire.
Can we talk about how great the cast ... Read More

That's right, our favorite charming heroine of Hollywood has now surpassed Miss Bella herself. Stewart was raking in the dough between May 2011 and May 2012, boasting $34.5 million that year alone. This past year, though, between May of 2012 and 2013, she dropped to $22 million.
Meanwhile, Jen Law gained a whopping $26 million between June 2012 to June 2013, thanks to the epic Hunger Games blockbuster. (P.S. Lionsgate paid her $1 ... Read More

Jennifer Lawrence (AKA everyone’s fantasy BFF) spoke with the press after her Best Actress Oscar win and was, obviously, wonderful. Lawrence’s perpetual goofy sarcasm and flat refusal to engage in any media nonsense make her a favorite not just of the Academy, but of us all. Who else could trip up the stairs on the way to retrieve an Oscar and, by doing so, make us love her even more? Since her first Oscar nomination for ... Read More

I’ve seen most of the nominated films, watched the Golden Globes and the SAG Awards, and now the pressure is on for The Academy Awards on Sunday. This year’s nominees are filled with phenomenal women with diverse ages, looks, and levels of experience in the business.
The category that is perhaps the most conflicting for me is Best Actress. Who do we root for: 9-year-old Quvenzhané Wallis, 86 year old ... Read More

Recently, I was hanging out with a friend who told me that she has been obsessed with making Katniss Everdeen braids lately. I immediately thought (after reading The Hunger Games series and watching the movie four times,) "WHY HAVEN’T I TRIED THAT YET?!" So I went home, researched what I needed to know, and started practicing. Here are some DIY tutorial videos, so you can get that Katniss-style braid too!

Have you ever been in one of those relationships where you feel like only you and the other person exist? If so, Drake Doremus' Like Crazy will evoke all your nostalgia, and suck you into the confined space that young lovers create for themselves.
You may recognize actor Anton Yelchin from Alpha Dog or Charlie Bartlett, but he has certainly taken a leap of maturity in this film. Yelchin plays Jacob, a college T.A. who receives ... Read More
