A mother-daughter dinner at a Brazilian restaurant provided the unexpected start of equal-parts-adorbs-and-kickass alternative pop duo Sleigh Bells. Derek Miller and Alexis Krauss met in 2008 at Miss Favela in Brooklyn, where Miller was working as a waiter, and their partnership has been sensational ever since.
