Cardinal Timothy Dolan’s closing prayer at the Democratic National Convention last week was filled with doubletalk calling for an end to abortion rights, gay marriage, and contraceptive coverage. Once again, women’s rights are under attack. The Medicaid Women’s Health Program, a health-care program for low-income women in Texas, is in danger of losing $35 million dollars of federal funding because Governor Rick Perry won't allow any of it to go to Planned Parenthood.
