I was never one for binge-watching TV shows. That is, until I saw the first episode of Sex and the City on HBOGo. Needless to say, it sucked me in like a feathery Dior tornado, and to this day has not let go. I may be a decade late to the game, but the outfits, like good cheese, only get better with age.
A few (okay, more than a few) episodes into one of my Sex and the City sprees, my brain started to short-circuit, and I started thinking about other ... Read More

I am almost a college graduate. After four years of kicking butt, studying, hanging out with friends, going to bed too late, and several late nights in the computer lab, my time in higher education has come to a close. Whew.
I guess because it’s the first week of May, there have been a lot of articles out “How to be Successful After College,” “10 Ways to Find a Job,” etc. etc. They are stressing me the freak out. What if I do ... Read More

Brooklyn based quintet Friends are set to release their debut album, Manifest!, on Fat Possum Records June 5th, just in time for the summer. Brimming with tropical pop rhythms and percussive tribal beats, this album is perfect for hot rooftop parties and beach side dances the gals of Blue Hawaii would be jealous of. The album opens with the explosive and catchy “Friend Crush,” full of rippling synth lines and reverb-laden vocals reminiscent of Karen O ... Read More

One of the hardest things I've ever had to admit to myself and to others is that I'm a straight-up jealous person. I'm not jealous of people who have nicer things or better careers, and I no longer suffer from the kind of jealousy that compels me to send psychotic emails to my boo's ex, but I do get really super sassy when it comes to friends. I'm a BFF kind of gal, which means that all I need in this life of sin is me and my girlfriend AND NO ONE ELSE. Not ... Read More
