Perhaps the most remarkable part of this week’s episode of Girls was the insane backlash that it immediately sparked on the internet. As if writing and acting in Girls, taking on haters, and making bold pants-less fashion statements wasn’t enough, Lena Dunham is working on a whole new show. Dunham and Girls showrunner Jenni Konner are working with HBO on a new comedy based on the forthcoming memoir of Betty Halbreich, a Bergdorf Goodman personal shopper and generally badass old lady. Halbreich’s memoir, All Dressed Up and Nowhere to Go, will likely cover the 36 years she has spent ... Read More
