Jenny Lewis is one of my favorite musicians of all time. I didn’t think my love for this maven could’ve grown any more after years of touring as one-half of my favorite band Rilo Kiley, her very successful solo albums Jenny Lewis with the Watson Twins: Rabbit Fur Coat and Acid Tongue, or the fact that she played Phyllis Nefler’s daughter in the cult classic Troop Beverly Hills. But she’s topped everything, and the Internet might just ... Between the Lines Productions, the company behind the “Twilight” parody film “TwiHarder,” is now suing Summit Entertainment and Lionsgate Entertainment because the companies sent repeated letters threatening legal action if Between the Lines did not cease distribution of the parody. Between the Lines now seeks payment for business disrupted and lost because of the cease-and-desist orders.
But the most intriguing part of ... Read More

That's right, our favorite charming heroine of Hollywood has now surpassed Miss Bella herself. Stewart was raking in the dough between May 2011 and May 2012, boasting $34.5 million that year alone. This past year, though, between May of 2012 and 2013, she dropped to $22 million.
Meanwhile, Jen Law gained a whopping $26 million between June 2012 to June 2013, thanks to the epic Hunger Games blockbuster. (P.S. Lionsgate paid her $1 milli for the movie ... Read More

I’m sure you won’t mind that I’m not reciting this letter out loud to you on YouTube, the way a 14-year-old Twilight fan would. People are so full of feelings about you lately, Kristen Stewart—about your affair, your breakup, your public apology, your reconciliation. I have feelings about you too, but I’ll do my best not to make this weird.
I’m sorry that I didn’t have the best impression of you at first, when I ... Read More

It’s the perfect time for Jack Kerouac’s iconic autobio- graphical novel On the Road to come to the big screen, despite skepticism that this singular staple of beat liter- ature has finally been sold out. Today we find ourselves in an era of uncertain futures populated by emasculated, cigarette-smoking young men with thick-framed glasses and the women who love them—not unlike the late ’40s.
Screenwriter Jose Rivera’s script is still ... Read More

It is with great sadness (happiness) that I report that as of this past weekend, our long national dream (nightmare) is over. That's right, people--Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiered in theaters, thus ending The Twilight Saga once and for all, or at least until they reboot it in five years with hotter, younger actors. Just kidding, no one is younger than Taylor Lautner. When we left our young Bella (Kristen Stewart) in Part 1, she had just turned into a vampire after ... Read More

News broke yesterday that Kristen Stewart is not just involved in a fictional love triangle with a werewolf and a vampire. In fact, she is the tip of an all too real equilateral between her, her Twilight co-star/(ex?) boyfriend Robert Pattinson and the director of her last film, Snow White and the Hunstman. Not only did she commit infidelity in her own relationship, but she made the other dude an adulterer. That's right, he's married. Kristen is apparently ... Read More
Finally! A teaser trailer for The Runaways starring Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett and Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie. Emphasis on the word 'teaser' -- it's less than a minute long. But you get to see 1) Dakota wearing some amazing '70s red streak blush and 2) K-Stew smash a chair. I've already watched it 3 times in the past 10 minutes.

Love it or hate it, you can't avoid Twilight. Last night, I joined several other BUSTies (and about a million swooning girls) for a midnight screening of round two of my favorite teen vampire drama. To sum up -- it was AMAZING.
If you're going to sit through a two-hour-long angsty teen drama, there's no better way to do it than with tons of screaming teenagers and their mothers. I haven't heard so much squealing at an event since the Backstreet Boys concert I went ... Read More
