“Land of the Innocent” is the latest from electro-pop group Feathers. This Austin, Texas gals give us the best synthy beats and moody vocals with this track off their upcoming album If All Here Now, set for release April 15th. The video gets an A+ for the ladies’ super dope threads and strange, ethereal imagery. Watching this video just makes me want to zone out and drive my car around until I get lost.  Photo via ... New year, new tracks: BUST is giving you an exclusive first-look at the music video "Find Your Home" from Nashville-based singer/pianist Anna Haas, whose jazzy vocals and vintage-styled aesthetic matched perfectly to the clips, which are culled almost entirely from old films of her late grandmother as a young girl growing up in NYC.Haas was touched and inspired by the footage, which she came across while rummaging through her great grandfather's film reels. Some ... Read More
Jim Batt, the animator behind the Amanda Palmer music video “Want it Back”, has released a new short animation, “I Have Your Heart”. The film is a collaboration with New York artist Molly Crabapple and musician Kim Boekbinder, otherwise known as The Impossible Girl. The idea for “I Have Your Heart” was hatched back in 2010, when Crabapple and Boekbinder decided to combine their visual and musical art forms into one ... L.A. singer-songwriter AG (of the Rescues), industry giant Maia Sharp, and Missouri musician Garrison Starr are touring together, and, believe me, you want to see this show. AG,  Sharp, and Starr are all expert writers and performers who merge a variety of influences, including folk, pop, rock, and Americana, to create their own individual styles. I had the good luck to see them perform together at New York’s Rockwood Music Hall last Tuesday. Unlike ... Read More

At BUST, we love Johanna And The Dusty Floor, and they have a new video out we think you will enjoy just as much as we do. “Fishbones” is a beautiful and haunting slow electro-pop song. The video was shot by Jeaneen Lund, a regular contributor to BUST, and the amazing visuals (courtesy of Iceland) are as striking as the music.Johanna will be singing for The Cranberries on their world tour starting in October, but first she's  headlining a ... Dan Deacon’s new video for “True Thrush” off the new album America, out August 28th, is based on the game "telephone." Co-directed with Ben O'Brien, the video opens with a short scene created and filmed by the duo, which is then imitated by another team of two, and so on. Each pair was given one hour and one take to recreate the previous groups’ video from memory—costumes, set, acting and all. The game ends messier and more insane ... Read More
Polish-born musician Ela Orleans recently put out a music video for the song “Elegy,” off of her latest tape release, and it's just right for meadow naps during the golden hour. High Moon Low Sun is out now on Clan Destine Records, and is Orleans’ newest release since 2011’s excellent LP Mars Is Heaven. “Elegy” is a dreamy track, featuring the artist’s haunting vocals, some jazzy trumpet, and an uplifting jingling melody ... Despite the fact that she only just released the four-minute long trailer yesterday, Lana Del Rey’s video for “National Anthem,” featuring A$AP Rocky, was released this morning- and it's definitely interesting. Directed by Anthony Mandler, the video features Lana playing both Marilyn Monroe AND Jackie Onassis while A$AP plays JFK in what appears to be a live-action instagram reel. Whether it has you bleeding red, white, and blue or ready to move ... Read More
Having never lived in the suburbs, I view them as extremely foreign yet undeniably romanticized. But unique visions of life in suburbia come alive in Ssion's latest music video, "Earthquake," which was filmed in Kansas City, the hometown of the band's lead singer Cody Critcheloe. If you haven’t yet had the pleasure of peeping a Ssion (pronounced shun) video or hearing one of their tunes, the best way I can think to describe them is as something between a ... Read More
