You're like, a total spaz if you weren't seriously obsessed with Cher's magical computer-organized closet in Clueless. It's disappointing to think that the film is nearly 20 years old and Ikea STILL hasn't come up with anything remotely similar. But what's this? A light in the distance? It would appear the wonderful world of technology has smiled upon us mere plebes: Cher's style system is now iPhone compatible! Check out these apps and quit, like, buggin' out, ... Read More

“I don’t give a damn of what people think of me or the way I dress, I dress for myself because I love style and design and color.”
This statement may sound like the devil-may-care attitude of a stylish twenty-something, but this sentiment actually comes from the mouth of Bridget, a seventy-five year old Brit, one of six older women featured in the TV documentary Fabulous Fashionistas, which recently aired on Britain’s UK Channel ... The campaign, whose theme is "Talented & Gifted," also features Broadway actors, entrepreneurs, and a 7th grade heavy-metal band (They're called "Unlock the Truth"--I am totally listening to them right now).
Tavi also has a hand-picked gift selection, which you can view here. You know, ... Read More
The fashion photographer Tim Walker is known for his work with young ladies like Kate Moss; in his new book, he explores the nature of the photographic eye as it pertains to old age. In The Granny Alphabet, he views “the dying breed of little old ladies who live down the lane” with awe and curiosity. This weekend, amidst my hectic schedule of clicking "Next Episode" on Netflix, I was introduced to the app ThirdLove. The just-launched app promises to fit the user for the perfect bra. I have been fitted for a bra in the past--a Victoria's Secret "professional" with a measuring tape and really cold hands curtly informed me I had a wide back and small boobs. But hey, my bras fit.
Nevertheless, I was intrigued by ThirdLove. Thanks to all the reported ... Read More

Ever notice how all “nude” heels are really just the same ambiguous tone that somehow complements only Christina Aguilera's spray-tan? Fortunately, for we lesser beings, legendary designer Christian Louboutin is about to change that. The shoe-guru is launching the “Nudes” collection, featuring five of his most famous designs in five shades that range from a dainty petal to a rich coffee.
“They disappear like magic and become a fluid ... Read More
