In their latest New-York-themed issue, The Hollywood Reporter released a list of 35 Most Powerful People in Media. Of course, we just had to know - Where 'dem girls at? To my surprise, Oprah was not on the list. There were, however, fifteen female contenders of equal caliber.

It seems as though Uzbekistan’s public television is trying to help out their ladies when it comes to alcoholism, which is a serious problem among men and women in the former Soviet Union—except a recent program seems to be preaching more about Uzbek women's image than their health.

With over 37, 400 signatures and counting, New York writer Sabrina Lamb has succeeded in getting Oxygen to drop their heinous show proposal “All My Babies’ Mamas.” The cancelled show would have followed Atlanta rapper Shawty Lo and his eleven children with their ten mothers.
