All of a sudden, summer is upon us. That means sweaty days and muggy nights - NYC, just like most of the country, turns into a total armpit during the summer. When all you want to do is hide out in front of the AC, slip on one of these stunners, get outside, and live it up!
This Nasty Gal number:You don’t need us to tell you that the early '90s are back in a big bad way. We're celebrating our 20th anniversary this year at BUST and it might be ... Read More

Oh my God. I need all of these. These adorable suits are perfect for anyone. Worried about having a bikini body? Take this good advice, then go to Fab.com and buy one or five or all of these!

Well this is awesome - two students from Cornell University have created a mannequin modeled after real plus sized bodies, building the most accurate curvy shape the fashion industry has ever used.
That sounds a little strange (why would an accurate plus-size mannequin be revolutionary?) but until now, most mannequins for larger clothes were made by just magnifying the general proportions of smaller mannequins. That means the proportions of plus-sized mannequins ... Read More

Two ex-Nike entrepreneurs have gone off the beaten path to create this rad clothing line that caters to tomboys everywhere. If you've found yourself in the men's section of every store when shopping, Wildfang is the online store for you. Emma McIlroy and Julia Parsley are the designers behind the Portland-based startup, who aim to "liberate menswear, one bowtie at a time." Their pieces cater to their personal style needs, including ties, suspenders, creepers, ... Read More

We still haven't gotten over the horrendous comments and actions of fat-hate coming from Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries. Luckily we can always count on Ellen to poke fun at such insanely ridiculous situations like these, and that's just what she did on her show last Friday. She has one thing to say to Abercrombie: "Fitch, please!" Not only is this clip hilarious, DeGeneres ends with a truly inspiring anti-fat-hate message about true beauty. She extends ... Read More
It's almost summer, which is the perfect time to share this adorable, Coney Island lookbook from designer Julie Mollo. Mollo is one of my favorite independent designers. She's cute as a button and her style reflects that as she designs whimsical circle skirts and bold accessories for girls unfraid of colorful fashion. Created to showcase her circle skirt line, this lookbook is perfectly summer-ready and the skirts are so cute, ... Read More
Jaws dropped when pictures were released of Zooey Deschanel sans her signature bangs at the Met Gala. Not that it looks bad or anything…as if that ageless, blue-eyed dollface could look anything less than adorable. I don’t think it’s in her programming. But it still caused a universal double-take of, “Wait, THAT’S Zooey Deschanel?”
It’s as if the Zooey Deschanel persona is so defined that altering it in any way is nothing short of blasphemy. ... Read More
When I was little, I'd constantly raid my mom’s closet to play dress up. I loved draping myself in her fancy dresses, jewelry, and oversized shoes. In honor of Mother’s Day this weekend, we’ve compiled a list of the top TV moms with the best outfits – the moms whose closets we'd have loved to raid.

I know y'all have seen the ridiculous ass-backwards looks from the red carpet gala at the Costume Institute Ball. I will NOT bore you with talk about how the glitterati got it all WRONG. Punk is not putting a thousand dollars of studs on a three thousand dollar Burburry jacket (I'm looking at you Sienna Miller). If you haven't seen the pix, check them out here and come back to me laterz.
The Metropolitan Museum is super important and does a great job preserving ... Read More
