In celebration of the opening of their new Soho NY store, I got to check out the Spring line of Dr. Martens and I was super impressed! Everyone knows the classic DM shit-kickers, but I sometimes had a hard time working them into my wardrobe. For the last few years, they’ve been updating the line, by adding heels and color, but this latest crop is by far my favorite. From more refined, suede desert boots, to feminine wedges, to glam heeled sandals, there is ... Read More

Some street style I shot while visiting a friend in Boston. I really want to go back, I had such a lovely time.
Maybe it's because I've spent the last four years here but Fall in New York looks nothing like Fall in Boston. The trees turn such beautiful colors- saffrons, rich magentas and emeralds- I kind of wanted to eat the leaves. Or take them home with me and stare at the pretty colors all day long.
But I've digressed- back to street style! ... Read More

On cold, sunless afternoons the BUST office can seem more like a dark cave than a magical island run by women. Despite the dreariness outside there was nothing but enchantment inside as the interns were transformed into psychedelic tree nymphs with the help of some pretty sassy spandex.
MessQueen, a New York City-based designer, aims for bold with her funky printed leggings that command attention from across the room. Slip a pair of these bad boys on and you ... Read More

The Fred Perry label continues it's nearly fifty-year old romance with the music industry as it teams up British songstress and style icon Amy Winehouse for a new line of retro chic clothing. The collaboration puts a feminine twist on the classic label, incorporating the brand's staple looks with Winehouse's unconventional sex appeal.
In hindsight, the pairing of the two seems obvious and inevitable like Kate Moss for Topshop or the Cardigans' Nina Persson for ... Read More

Being a southern transplant to New York City, I find fall one of the trickiest of the seasons. You would think winter would be difficult but no no, it's not, you just freeze and get to play in the snow and sometimes slip and fall on the sidewalks. Winter is easy because it's consistent, consistently cold. Fall is a tempestuous mistress of a season, hot one day, cold the next. Or deliciously pleasant in the bright buttery sunlight and brisk and prickling the shade. ... Read More

For those who don't know, LUSH is a fresh, handmade cosmetics company that originated in London several years ago and has now reached cult status. The company is by no means a cult, but when you mention its name, a wide spectrum of people will turn glass eyed and immediately reach for their purse or wallet. In an attempt to bring the loyal lovers of their popular bath bombs and soaps to a heightened frenzy of buyer's lust, co-founder Mark Constantine and resident ... Read More

Search "Betty White" on youtube and amidst clips of her referring to Sarah Palin as a "crazy bitch" on Craig Ferguson's show, making fun of the Facebook-mania when she hosted Saturday Night Live, and calling herself a whore on The George Lopez Show, you will now find a recently released promotional video for her clothing line, a collection of t-shirts and hoodies sporting images of Betty's very own face. The clip features White as a far-from-polite fashion ... Read More
