I recently came in contact with Beauty Without Cruelty. I was drawn to their array of colorful lipsticks and, of course, the idea of all-natural beauty. I found out their products are 100% vegetarian and 100% natural. The company was actually founded by an animal welfare organization, so you know they're legit. Naturally, their mantra is all in the name. They sent over a few products and I'd like to tell you a little about products ... Read More

As the lights dimmed in preparation for Rick Owens Spring/Summer 2014 presentation, photographers and editors got comfy in their front-row chairs, likely expecting yet another stream of sample-size waifs to glide in front of them. After all, fashion week is that special time of year when all of our senses are bombarded with delicate clothes draped over ethereal human hangers.
Instead, Rick Owens greeted the world with silhouettes of powerful, strong figures, ... Read More
If you gals and guys haven’t checked out the ever-popular @Seinfeld2000 Twitter account, you’re missing out. The dude behind it brilliantly uses Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld’s Manhattanite characters to critique contemporary obsession with celebrity and technology. Tweets include banal and hilariously self-involved reflections on topics ranging from Breaking Bad to kale, and they include unbelievably hilarious misspellings. The account ... Read More
