While numerous and recent studies document the importance of involving parents in sexuality education and unplanned teen pregnancy prevention efforts, there is still a lack of resources for organizations seeking to more strategically engage and educate parents. The Adult Role Models (ARM) program is a parent-peer education program designed to provide parents with the information and skills they need to become the primary sexuality educators of their children.  Trainer: Amanda Perez, M.P.H.

This event is a part of the Planned Parenthood of New York City annual Spring 2011 Training Institute that includes training, forums and webinars on sexual and reproductive health.
