"Labor of Love"
A Folk and Rock Labor Day Concert Event
with
Ezra Furman, Congress of Starlings, Tom Goss
and special surprise guests
Friday, September 2, 2011, 9 p.m.
Jackhammer,
6406 N. Clark St.
On Sept. 2nd, The Flesh Hungry Dog Show reveals its softer side with a (mostly) acoustic show headlined Ezra Furman (of Ezra Furman and the Harpoons) performing a rare solo set. See why Andy Whitman of Paste Magazine says, "It's refreshing to hear a young songwriter with a singular vision going for the jugular every time."
Sharing the bill will be Congress of Starlings and Tom Goss. Performance artist Andrea Sottovoce presents his "Bag of Fun" prize giveaways including $25 gift certificates from The Pleasure Chest. Your best friends Gary Airedale and DJ Sky will be present, doing their respective hosting and DJ-ing duties.
The Flesh Hungry Dog Show starts at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, September 2, 2011 at Jackhammer (773-743-5772), 6406 N. Clark St. in Chicago. Jackhammer is a 21+ venue.
Tickets are $10 at the door or $8 online at www.brownpapertickets.com/event/193148 |
