In commemoration of unsinkable, unstoppable New York City, BETTY is celebrating in song - remembering the breathless time when New Yorkers came together as one human family in grief, support and connection.   After the horror and before the call to war, strangers hugged in the streets, sang quietly shoulder to shoulder at Union Square, comforted sudden tears in a subway train, looked deeply for meaning into the eyes of people passing.   Before the cry for war, New Yorkers shared in tender harmony and for one long shining moment as our better selves - in the busiest city on earth - made peace on earth a reality.  BETTY salutes the bright, collective, forever soul of this amazing town.
