Many survivors contact us saying their communities and friends aren’t providing them the help that they want or need. In this workshop we will discuss concrete skills and ideas to support survivors of sexual assault and sexual boundary crossing. There will be a lot of time to ask questions and generate thoughts about how to better support each other. We will share resources we have found in doing this work in Philly and also ask people to share their struggles doing this work. This workshop is geared towards people who are survivors, and are in relationships and communities with survivors.
Philly Survivor Support Collective: We support survivors of sexual assault in directing their own healing and offer alternatives to the legal system for survivors seeking justice and safety. We work to transform our communities and to end sexual assault. |
