Multi-talented artist and fashion designer Claudia Gold is painting a mural for BUST tomorrow at our Ladies Represent! art show and we couldn’t be more stoked. Not only will she be showcasing her skills in action, but her work will be featured in our gallery itself! Gold got her start as CLAW Money, the legendary alter ego she created for her street artwork. The New Yorker has been creating vibrant, pop culture-inspired murals and designs since the ‘80s, so we’re honored to have her at our gallery show tomorrow at Superchief. The all-female art show will take place at Culturefix bar and gallery in the Lower East Side from August 13th to 18th. CLAW Money will be painting her mural tomorrow, but our opening will be this Thursday, August 15th from 6pm to 8pm. So get your ass over there, duh!

Gold has collaborated with the likes of Rag & Bone, Vans, Ecko Red, Nike, and tons more, plus M.I.A. and Santogold are outspoken patrons of her clothing line. Recently she’s been working with Lord and Taylor, painting beautiful murals for their displays. Check out her other impressive work here!
