I've been getting that same message, too, ginger. Also, even though I have my username & password saved on my home and work computers, more and more frequently when I come here, it's forgot all my settings (specifically the work-safe skin preference)...I go to log-in and my name & password are still there, but I have to log-in again to get the skin. Weird.

there is a poster faereitails2 who has what is supposed to be an aborted fetus in their avatar. Any chance that can be removed? I already have the poster on ignore but don't want to have to look at that image.

I keep having problems with the Bust Media taster. I try to open it, and it says: "Could not find the main class. Program will exit."

I would like to humbly suggest that maybe we could have a sort of "How to..." section in the Guidelines.

I just made a big old faux pas in the Ladies Who Lounge forum topics. I did not mean to post a new topic, since I know that it is usually Bust ettiquette to suggest new topics in the community forum and see how much interest is generated.
Anyhoo.... I hadn't been to the boards in long time so I checked out the guidelines, posted my introduction in the Newbies thread re-introducing myself, and then started posting away. Which is where I ran afoul and what promped me to ask for a small section in the guidelines letting new posters (or ones who have forgotten how to post) know which button does what.

Ad Server Down! We Have an Ad Server Down!

At least, I'm assuming it's something like that, since the ads won't load, so after 30 seconds or so on any page I get bumped to a "We can't find (whatever bust ad blah blah blah....but here are some handy related links, just in case you were looking for herbal bust enlargement)" page.

And it does it in the "work safe" blue mode of boring, too.

um, you just did post in the forum. if you're asking why you can't post a new thread, it's because you haven't reached the required amount of posts that we require new people to make before they can make new threads, which allows them to ease in and learn the way this community works. since we don't have moderaters and aren't able to delete threads, we ask that everybody first make a post to the community forum to guage interest for a new thread idea and make sure that there's not already an existing thread that would cover a topic, or that a new thread would get started, have one or two posts because nobody's interested in the topic, and then spend weeks cluttering up the forum until it gets pushed down to the bottom by newer or more active threads. it also cuts down on trolls and spammers.

I tried to update my avatar - I uploaded a new one (it's the right size) but it doesn't show when I post, my old avatar shows. I can't figure out why 'cause the new one shows up under "my controls" as my current avatar, please advise.

I've been trying to put in my location, but when I do so I get an error telling me that I've attempting an impossible date, e.g. Feb 30. But I'm not touching the date input. Plus my location doesn't input.

Two things:

#1: To edit your location, you need to put a birthday date in. It's a known bug (and Celina, I've got the userCP fix, but the last time I checked, there's not a fix for the profile - just PM me if you want it). If you don't want to put your actual birthday in, who'll know?

#2: The personal photo is in your profile. To change the picture under your name by posts, you want to change your avatar.

polly, you could do it through clicking on the profile name, clicking options then ignore user instead of going through control panel.

Why don't we have the option to add someone to put ignore list just by clicking on their name in their post, and doing it through the drop-down menu?? Now we have to copy their name>My Controls>Manage Ignored List, etc......takes too long and i have to linger on [Photoshopped] aborted fetuses! Grrr.....

I want to change my profile name because I did a mistake when I registered myself. When I've found this forum I was with a friend and I didn't know what name should I use so....she did suggest me this one. Now I don't like it anymore....

What was in your mind in the first time? What profile name do you want to use know? Do you have an idea? Or do you have to think more? My advice is to think twice before you take a choice. Have a great day.
