I really wish I hadn't accidentally deleted the PM they sent me. It might have contained some explanation as to why things have been so slow/lax. I think we may have a new intern or something with how things have been handled recently.

Again, welcome newbies!
If you'd like to avoid reading any troll posts go to My Controls. The left hand side of the page shows you your Menu. If you go all the way to the bottom you'll see the Options tab. There is a heading under it that says Manage Ignored Users. Click on it & you can add the name of anybody irritating & you won't see their posts anymore! Hi, I'm Spire and I'm new here.
I just got Issue 67 (Feb/Mar 11, with Portia de Rossi on the cover) and there's a winter cape pattern on page 37 that I'd love to sew. In the article it says to go to www.bust.com/downloads to get the pattern but it doesn't seem to be listed on that page. There's another cape pattern but downloading it shows it not the same one as the magazine (not enough pattern pieces). Does anyone know where I could download it? |

awww, shucks! i have really missed being part of this community as well. i don't have a good excuse, just that being a graduate student is a huge distraction from the fun parts of life!! i've been a hardcore lurker, which is unfair, but i have promised myself to contribute instead of mooch from now on.
quickest update i can give is that i finished all my PhD coursework, took my comprehensive exams, and i am now just over half-way through my dissertation research in Costa Rica. it's been a rocky road so far, with multiple computer and other technological failures, monkey electrocutions, break-ups, make-ups, and new relationships. suffice to say, i am very happy to be back at last! hugs to all my busties! -------------------- "To lose everything at the edge of such a glorious eternity is far sweeter than to win by plodding through a cautious, painless, and featureless life."

hello lounging ladies! i have been MIA for the past two years due to the vicissitudes of life and the stress of being a graduate student. despite the fact that i am still in the middle of the forest studying monkeys as per usual, my free time on the internet has actually increased considerably. as such i am emerging from lurking to say hello and that i will slowly be re-introducing myself for the second time (because i had to dip out one other time in my nearly 7 years of bust lounge membership).

I'm a 41 yr old chuncky chick with one man, two kids, and three dogs. (Also a grandson and soon to be stepson.) I work nights in the local hospital, as a Radiologic Technologist.
