Oh, no problem, I just wanted to clarify that I did indeed get it. I actually looked the kid up & listened to a bit of it. It was akin to pouring treacle in my ear canals. Never again, I say!

Lil Mama - Lipgloss. It's on my bike jam.

"fast car" by tracy chapman.

The Boy and i have been looking for new songs for him to learn on his acoustic guitar. we've started doing cheesy 90's pop songs in a folk-y way. he plays and sings, i sing. you should hear our version of britney's "hit me baby (one more time)" tongue.gif we kick ass.

i welcome suggestions, btw...

"Push It To the Limit" by Corbin Bleu keeps running thru my mind.

I am assuming Corbin Bleu is some tween pop person; he has a name that sounds like he's a star on some kind of twink porn site.

Um, I read it correctly the first time.

"You Got It All" FTW!

Okay I was confusing my videos. Same band different song. I don't know how I could have been so very, very foolish.
I was thinking of You Got It All I forgot how the object of her affection lit up with christmas lights and disappeared

Thanks for the link Stargazer

Are the Jets the brother and sisters who sang I've Got a Crush on You with the video where the sister who sang was a diner waitress? If so, I loved them. I think that was my first ever cassette tape, straight from Columbia House

Fleetwood Mac "The Chain". I HATE Fleetwood Mac with a passion. Hate it. But "The Chain" has been in my head relentlessly for two days.

OMG! Fly Me Courageous! I haven't thought of that in years! That is some Dave Kendall 120Minutes shit!

Weirdly, what's been sticking in my head completely unbidden when I first awake has been bad late eighties/early nineties pop. The other morning it was "King of Wishful Thinking" & the day before that the Jets. Seriously. The FUCKING JETS. I remember being given that CASSETTE by my parents at my swank thirteenth birthday dinner at the Pizza Hut. Pan Pizza & salad bar & the Jets.

I am assuming Corbin Bleu is some tween pop person; he has a name that sounds like he's a star on some kind of twink porn site.

I blame my son for this one....."Push It To the Limit" by Corbin Bleu keeps running thru my mind. That and the Charleston-esque song "Wikked Lil Grrrls" by Esthero.

Ugh. I hate when I start singing random songs out of nowhere. I started to sing Drivin' N' Cryin's Fly Me Courageous while surfing the 'net. blink.gif

I have the song Losin' You by Jan Terri stuck in my head. Awful singing, awful video, but catchy lyrics and tune. She's a local artist (for Chicago) who tried to get a music career in the 80s and early 90s and was on the Jon Stewart show in a segment a while ago. It's hard to tell if she really takes herself seriously or not.
