First, I should probably start by apologizing incase my username might offend anyone. So, if I've offended you, I am truly sorry. biggrin.gif

So, I'm Melissa, I'm 24 and I'm from the grayest place on earth, Cleveland Ohio! I've actually have been reading Bust for years, and never realized there was a forum here. I'm really excited I stubbled on to this place. A little more about myself, I love music and movies and I'm a hugh art enthusiast! I love art in all different types of mediums. I also love to read, and to drink black coffee (preferably that combo at the same time). And one of my dreams for the future is to become a belly dancer.

Im really looking forward to getting to know the members here.

Thank YOU Auralpoison!
Um, where is the place to ask about how I can find a thread I was reading on my first day which seems to have gotten buried under the pyramids?
It was something like, "what do you call your vagina"... I was loving that thing.

And. You girls make me feel like I've finally come home. Thank you.

Hi, I'm Stank.

I'm a musician, part time chauffeur and gal of all trades who hates dishes, but loves to cook. I used to post here before but that was a long time ago. This place is still outrageous.

I'm just a lech trying to find out what women think. Someone, maybe the Goddess, left a copy of the Atlantic in my bathroom with a rap on new genre's in women's literature. Along with the standard classic Romance, there were now the revenge novels where she gets back at him for being dumped, the book about picking the right college, getting the right degree, and then going out to find the perfect......job. Or, after finding the perfect man, discovering what a thankless job it was raising his kids from his airhead first wife.

Then, someone left a copy of Cosmopolitan, (I'll read anything) that had a report from a 30 something, disparing of ever meeting Mr. Wright, who went to a fertility clinic and now has the perfect... baby.

Every few years, I get a subscription to Playboy to see what young men are being told. Looking them over, I see it has become quaint. So, I got a subscription to Hustler, and if you actually read, rather than just look, its more cutting edge, socially active, like Playboy usta be. But I dont needa look at pictures to get horney.

Then, I got more recent copies of Cosmopolitan and Glamour, and sense the change; there's still raps on how to find and keep your man, but there's also some now on how to get more out of whatever life, or sex life, you are already having. Then, in the feb 09 Cosmo, "The Surprising Way to Feel Happier", on pg 139, which is, pure Zen. A remarkable contrast to all the upscale merchandise ads. Well, we all havta start somewheres.

But then, I saw the link to Bust, so thot I'd see if there was a more leading edge. And I'd get a subscription, but I got an upcoming test case on medical marijuana in Arkansas coming up in Oct, when they mite throw my ass in jail. So, I dont make any long term plans.

But looking for new social models, have you all seen or looked up the Mosuo?
http://www.pbs.org/frontlineworld/rough/20...on_tolinks.html
Look at the longer video. Whatever they are doing does not seem to fit into any of the genres of womens literature I know of.

Hello All!
I am so pleased to have found you all!
I am a high risk ob nurse, a mom a wife and an artist.
I have also not been on a newsgroup in a while. So forgive me cause I don't really remember how to do this.
I am interested in posting on the "go ahead ask me about my abotion" group, not only as someone who had one at 17 but as a nurse who helps patients with this difficult decision and provides care to those who walk this difficult path. Do I need to be a member for a while before I post? Thanks so much and bright blesings to all here!! what a great site!

Welcome newbies!!!

by posting here, you've done the first great thing by introducing yourself!!!

Few things about the boards,

you won't offend us if you post away, in relevant thread. Posting about the world of warcraft of escorts won't get you in our good books.

If there is any thread you don't see, but are wondering if we have something relevant to that topic, pop on over to the community forum and ask. Chances are that there is a thread, it's just dropped out of sight.

If you're unsure about posting, by all meants lurk until you get the feel of the thread.

Also, please please PLEASE, do not start a new thread without asking in the community forum first, see my second point.

welcome all and happy posting!!!

I'm a newbie too...I've already posted in the large busties thread because that's where I first found this site (I spent hours reading it & that's where I can relate the best as well!) Just want to introduce myself and hopefully I didn't mess things up by posting in the other thread first. I'm 32, a newlywed, and in AZ where it is currently 113 degrees outside*Blech!!! * I'm open to making friends and getting/giving advice if needed. smile.gif

I wanted to mention that I also have been having issues with uploading a personal pic as well...not the avatar, just the personal pic...Thanks!

Hello, my name is Jessica. I'm 22 and an aspiring writer from New Jersey. I love living here - beautiful beaches are five minutes from my house, and NYC is a 1 hour train ride away (or 30 minutes by ferry!). I would love to make some friends from the central Jersey/Jersey Shore area, so if you're out there, say hi! I love music, baking, wine and animals. I really want to learn to knit and my favorite Beatle is George Harrison (<---two random facts). Look forward to meeting you all!
