Hi cat lady,
I lived in Scotland for a year. It was lots of fun while it lasted. Unfortunately (well, fortunatley really), now I have two homes with what feels like family in both places (including my boyfriend who's still in Scotland but coming to Canada for a year soon!) and whenever I'm one place I miss the other. I hope you love your new state and meet amazing friends like I did on my adventure. Your toast and roast sounds fun! We have something similar each year after finals where we give out silly awards and make fun of docs. I'm going to suggest the "most likely to say 'hey babe, I'm a doctor' in a nursing home" award to my classmates! I think that's a great one! I'm just heading into finals now. almost done for the year and being shipped out to do our obligatory "week in the country" where we follow around a country doc for ... you guessed it, a week. Should be alright though since I want to practice somewhere semi-rural anyways. Hope you had fun toasting and roasting! |
