honeybunch - I think the day is already here that a helluva lot of girls have implants. but as far as I have been able to tell, that makes natural boobs, no matter the size, all the more attractive. Any guy I've EVER talked to wants to know he is getting the real thing, and finds the bubble boob off-putting. Nothin like perky little boobies that you know will stay perky after the age of 25.
looney - I have the same problem. I find that no style is universally flattering. some boy-cut bikini shorts make my booty look so fabulous no one is looking at the boobs, but others are downright hideous. I just try on pretty much everything in the store until one works right. And I am not afraid to go with some padding - hides the nipples anyways. I think small chested girls actually have the advantage with bikinis, since we don't need as much support and can try a wider variety of styles because of it. Also, if you have a nice flat belly, work it, baby! Just draw attention to your best features and that is what people will look at. I can honestly guarantee that 95% of the people out there don't give hoot how big your boobs are, and the other 5% are creepy anyways.

Most guys I know love boos, all boobs, and quality is far much more important than quantity!

IA with the bold. I just hope natural boobies don't became a scarcity. I take that back, I know 4 women at work who want or have boob jobs, not just 3. That's just in my itty bitty department, too. I'm just gonna take a step back and really think about why so many people feel the need for that.

and here's one designed especially for smallies! got no cleavage? why not show it all??

I really like designer swimwear, because it is cut smaller and more likely to be unpadded. You just have to comb the 'net for the great sales!

I looove microtops.

And the pic of the small bustie is lovely!!!
Here's someone I've had my eyes on... Small bustie

Wow, thanks for the factual verification, DJ! I had heard and retold the champagne glass story using the Empress Josephine version. I loved the bit re. the Folies Bergere turning down girls who overflowed the glass! I've noticed before that most Vegas showgirls tend to be small breasted as well.

A toast to all of your lovely small breasts, ladies! (with champagne glass raised)

unfortunately, just a myth about the champagne glass: http://www.snopes.com/business/origins/champagne.asp
i looked it up several years ago after some one told me the same story. but it is a nice story regardless.

And one more thing while I'm at it...

Retouch of a magizine "model" to make her breasts (and other feautres) appear bigger. http://demo.fb.se/e/girlpower/retouch/

Survey of men about implants. the article is biased though, as you can tell by the sentence "A spokeswoman for More magazine, which commissioned the poll, said: "Women would be better off spending their money on new dress and shoes rather than fake breasts."
http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/Sky-News-...200806413546467

Website with a ton of photos of breasts of all sizes. Showing that not only our idea of perfect size, but also our ideas of perfect shape, are completely unrealistic!
http://www.007b.com

I also found this on the internet - don't know if it's true or not:

Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, and Jackie Kennedy were all A cups

The wide-mouthed Champagne class was originally modelled on Marie Antoinette's breast. Marie Antoinette, Queen of France, was one of the most sought-after women of her time, chased by men of all stations. Her breast, which became the toast of the town, was only an A cup, based on the original mold still held in France. This woman was considered extremely sexy, extremely attractive, and she was proud enough of her breasts to celebrate them as a Champagne glass! Marie Antoinette certainly didn't consider her breasts small. She considered them to be the perfect size!

Oh, and also - I think there are specialty stores that sell bras and swimsuits specifically for women who have had a masectomy. My mom had a sponge "breast" and other types of padding to deal with these problems. I would check at specialty lingere stores. Or check in with a breast cancer charity to see if they have any products.

looney- for you, I think that bikinis with more interest (beading, ruffles, embroidery, stripes) on the top than the bottom goes a long way to balancing a pear shape.
here are some examples of what I mean:
bandeau
beaded
embroidered

and here's one designed especially for smallies! got no cleavage? why not show it all??

That totally goes up my ass sideways. mad.gif I'd like to trade breasts with someone like that--I'll take her perfectly natural good B-cups and she can take my A's and make them into quadruple D's if that's her thing. Just joking--I wouldn't want someone else's boobs.

Starship, the bikini you like is really flattering for our busts. More bandeau swimsuit top options

i couldnt find a decent picture of the style of bikini im thinking of going for this year but this pic is close
http://product-images.paidonresults.net/3/272533-400x400.jpg
ive seen lots around though, like bandeau tops with a twist in the middle. the knot on the twist adds abit of bulk to my chest and because its bandeau i dont have to worry about any cleavage issues (i.e. my lack of) or the embarassment of not filling out cups without padding. i hate padding on bikinis! you come out of the water and two hours later your boobs are still wet. oh and the tops that ive seen like this have had almost like boning at each side of the chest bit which i think will give me abit of a push up (most of my boob fat is on the outer sides if that makes sense)

someone posted a link not that long ago to a gorgeouss one piece suit they were getting. out of my price range though if i remember rightly:(

your mums more tricky. there are a few websites especially for women with masectomys, like this http://www.nicolajane.com/category-Tankini...kinis-SWIMTANK/ but you said she isnt looking for padding and other than having 'pockets' i cant see the difference between these and alot of regular tankinis.

karate i think alot of people already consider us microscopic! a few years ago some boys in my school class were looking at some topless pictures in a trashy newspaper and commenting. the smallest girl on there was a large C/small D Id say, but one boy pointed at her and said quite seriously sometthing like 'i wouldnt go with her, she's really small'. clearly ignoring the fact that she was drop dead gorgeous and i suspect if she turned up on his doorstep he's be thanking his lucky stars. some women have the same dwarped idea of 'small' too. like all those with perfectly good C-cups putting themselves through surgery rolleyes.gif

okay i need some major bathing suit help...
first there's me. 32a cup (although nearly a fits maybe a bit better?) and pear shaped. so like..what looks good on my shape?

but mostly my mom really needs help. she had a double mastectomy back in august and decided against reconstruction. she's looking for a tankini that will hopefully cover up her scars.... what are some good websites or places to go? i mean there's absolutely no breast tissue so it's been really frustrating trying to find something...everythings got padded cups. ridiculous. help! please smile.gif

There was much discussion of bathing suits awhile back. You might look at those posts again. I personally like Venus, Delia's and Newport News for swimsuits. Delia's is geared toward teen girls so their tops are flattering for smallies (with little to no padding! Woot!) Venus and Newport News allows you to buy many tops and bottoms separately--you choose the cut and size that works best for your figure. I wonder if you mom might open up her options with those waterproof silicone breast pads. I found some in a sewing/crafts store. I mean, she is not trying to be something she's not, just re-creating what once was, right?

And <<<<HUGS>>>> to your mom for all she's been through!!! <3

I love you all. I agree totally with all the recent comments here. Yeah, the ugly implants page is pretty hilarious (in a sad sort of way). I, too, am pretty mortified at the popularity of breast enhancement surgery. I'm not saying I'm against it all the time, in all situations, but it's true that it's getting more and more available, more acceptable, and yes, cheaper and thus more available (still not "cheap" by any means, but definitely more so as implants continue to become more popular, fostering competition between doctors). Ugh. It's just so sad and as you ladies saw on that web site, it's warping everyone's perception of what "small" and "large" actually are. The way things are going, in 20 years maybe we'll all be considered microscopic! blink.gifI wish I could see "My small breasts and I," but I'm in the US!

We already have small booby syndrome, so I wouldn't be surprised. mellow.gif

The clips of that other show I saw on youtube were a bit disturbing in the sense that all but one of the teens who got the implants hd them way too big but did not see it that way. One in particular was quite slender and tall but had these C-cups (and she had originally wanted D's!). They looked totally disproportionate on her. When she woke from surgery, she looked down at her chest and said (though her anesthesia fog) "I've got boobs, I'm a woman." Funny, I was thinking over the weekend that getting your period used to be the milestone to becoming a woman!

I kinda agree with one of the posters on youtube-she looks like she could do porn. I don't mean having big breasts =porn, I mean she's got those stereotypical porno implants. Oh gosh I hope that makes sense.

ETA: That video rocked because the host has his head right, at least as far as breasts are concerned. I love that he praised Keira at the end! I was almost out of my seat shouting, "Yes, Yes, Thank you!" The girl he interviewed, OY! What a premadonna?! I wonder if her breasts are actually implants. Women compete for the attention of men. Most men's eyes are simply drawn to a big chest because they're easy to see. Everyone's eyes are drawn to a big chest, it doesn't mean a thing. It's eye catching, in the same way that a nice voluptuous ass is eye catching IMHO. It doesn't mean a thing. You never, ever base your relationships on a body part or an image. That's what I learned growing up (I was so skinny I didn't attract a lot of male attention), so I had lot's of time to observe my friends with the bodies and attitudes date and have "relationships". Never, ever base a relationship on a body part or image or sex appeal. Unless it is a for-sure fling. Then, rock the bells!!

i knowwww! i actually eeee-ed when he said the end bit about keira- it was so unusual to hear someone who wasnt a small-breasted woman say things like that about her. As soon as the girl started speaking I thought 'yup, she's had a boob job', she was rather defensive i think and not too impressed with the man's praise of the natural look.
and youre spot on about the boobs/relationship thing too:). i just need to drum this fact into my mind now.
anddd i also thought alot of the women on the beautiful breasts website had got their sizes wrong. i know that even boobs that are the same cup size can look totally different but some of them were way wayy out. not surprised though- apparently 80% of women wear the wrong size bra!:/

honeybunch, a lot of people who have surgery seem to go back for more. it must be adictive somehow- like tattoos or something. i guess if you strive for something that doesnt exist(perfection) you'll never be satisfied. i just read a magazine article about botched surgery- the woman wanted a pprettier face but ended up 'looking like a man' (her own words). she had to have several operations and sell her house just to get back her original face. mad

i came across a girl in some public toilets today. her water bra had leaked and she was frantically trying to dry a big wet patch covering her boob under the hand-dryer haha. i couldnt help but laugh to myself.and then nervously eyed my own gel enhanced cleavage:/... definately made me think about going natural more often

Hey starship, thanks for posting those two links. The ugly breast implant one is an eye popper, really. Damn! - it's gotta suck to look at your breasts in the mirror with those deformities strapped to your once soft supple chest.

The beautiful breasts website is awesome. But, my head is boggled because my eyes are seeing a pair of breasts that are obviously a large A and they are labeled an AA cup, another pair of breasts were labeled a C cup and they were clearly not. Another pair looked like an A cup but it read a B cup. Ummm... really?

I went bra-less today and ummm... the girls get more attention when they are allowed to breath and bounce a little.

I am going to watch that vid now....!
