I didn't get the accents thing either- maybe I have an accent because I know how to capitalize, use apostrophes and don't say "cuz"?? dry.gif

For Numbnuts, it was a def a turn on. He wanted wimmins to use his ballsac like a heavy bag. And Jeff, well, I think Jeff would have taken any nut abuse available. I just do not get CBT at all. Nobody is getting near my naughty bits with a Wartenberg wheel.

Oh, holy crap! People are actually asking before they start new threads now! Will wonders never cease? Go to town, I say.

Accent? What accent?

i've often had the same idea, bunny, so i vote YES! i was just listening to the radio, and they were talking about a writer that zoya loves, and i was thinking how much i learn from busties.... i can't wait for the thread... i'm so gung ho. plus it's a chance to look at different ideas of what feminism is. always a busties strong suit....

i lurve the idea bunny!

I had a thread idea a few weeks ago and now I can't even remember the woman who I was thinking of when I came up with it ... but I thought it would be nice to have a space where we could sing the praises of particular feminists (i.e. I read this article today about such and such and don't you think s/he rocks)? An admiration thread that's not so much about the mutual where we can celebrate the daily acts of feminism. What do people think? or do we have somewhere suitable already that I've forgotten?

I don't think there is an acutal "milkofamnesia" as a member, I think that's just what comes up when there hasn't been a new member in a bit. There are no posts, the profile doesn't bring anything up.

I have a question that's been bugging me. Who is milkofamensia and why is she always the "newest member"?

I sound like Bea Arthur, particularly after long periods of being anti-social. Or Kirstie Alley. Or Debra Winger when I get sick. I've got that low scratchy, whiney thing going on.

...Really, it's just Kirstie and Debra. But I'm sure by the time I'm in my 70s, I'll sound full-on like Bea. And, no, I don't smoke.

i came across another doomed thread. just thought i'd share some of the wit and wisdom of busties:

for man who search woman

nuts to you!

candy, you have to think of the lounge as a group of conversations. people don't usually jump in and talk about anything, try to relate to the others in the thread. pick up on what they are saying, and try to add to the conversation. speaking for speaking sake doesn't get you too far round here. even if you disagree, contribute to the thread. don't just blurt in, don't just interject and walk off.

as for my accent,
i have a thoroughly western twang. infact i sound like a miner from an old west movie. if you read my posts out loud doing the twangiest, cowboy accent, that is probably exactly what i sound like irl. ask aural. i sound like i just fell off of a horse (head first).

i think what aural means to say is, no.

not that i think you're actually reading anything but your own posts, candy, but read this thread. see how consensus was found with the mad men thread? that's how we create threads round these parts.

go around making threads for no good reason, and... well your first thread is what happened. keep that up and round here your name will be mudd. best to take things slow, read the threads you post in, and not start any new threads. if you're looking for a topic ask in here first.

that is why you have to at least post 10 times before you can make a thread. it's not an arbitrary speed bump, it's there for a reason.
