Question for the TX busties: I'm contemplating moving to Austin in about a year's time - if I'm able to get a teaching job there and was wondering if any of you could give me a few tips on the place such as...
Would you recommend living there - why or why not? Cost of living - high, medium, low? If I was to move there what area would I want to live in? and any other general information that would help me to decide if/when I would move there. Just to give you an idea I tend to like the artsy neighborhoods and like to be in walking distance to groceries, shops, resturants and such. I would expect to spend about 600-650 on rent maybe 700 in a place I couldn't live without. Oh yeah and I have pretty much lived in Ohio all my life (please don't throw rotten fruit at me :-)) Thanks in advance for you help. |
