Okay, I'm doing it. I'm going to see New Moon tonight. I've read all the books (I'm NOT a die-hard Twilighter, but I don't mind the films), and I have to say, I'm excited. Maybe it's because I haven't gotten any in months but damn, that boy is fine. I can't help it!

Well, Taylor Lautner will be 18 in a few months, so I can legally drool then. But whatever, I still fully appreciate, in my own red-blooded female way, all the gratuitous nudity in that movie. Makes me think a little too much about having all those guys at once... lol

Yes, it is legal (though a few states do set the age at 18). In the US the range of ages is between 16 and 18, depending on what state you're in. I'm surprised to see that a lot of states have it set at 16.

Haha, that's what I was thinking too, crino - he's not legal in the U.S. but he is in Canada - our age of consent here is 14 (which is actually very disturbing to me). I'm going to see New Moon sometime this week - the books are merely okay to me and I usually need some visual stimulation to enjoy them. Lautner is definitely more than just stimulation.
And what's funny is I don't find Hugh Jackman to be very attractive unless he's playing Wolverine. That's odd, but whatever. I also loved him in "Someone Like You" with Ashley Judd. That scene with them in the kitchen and him in his underoos? Yes please! -------------------- Vixi liber et moriar. |

nope, 17 is not legal (in the U.S.) unless you're 18. And yeah, wow, Taylor Lautner. I feel sooo dirty. I don't really find him that attractive in his own right (a little abercrombie and bitch for me) but as Jacob? Holy cow! He looks better with long hair. Of course, the same thing happened to me with Hugh Jackman as Wolverine (I've had a crush on the Wolve since I was like 8).
So, new celebrity crush for me is Jay Baruchel. Physically, he's built alot like my boyfriend, all tall and skinny with nice shoulders. And he just has that geeky sex appeal. I want to debate x-men with him and then rip his clothes off. Plus he looks hot in nerd glasses. -------------------- http://www.etsy.com/shop/crinolinecreations Handmade accessories for the SuperCute!

Michael Riley as 'Dr Tom' in 'Being Erica'. Ye gods. He's volatile, bendy and mysterious, with a fine line in quotations and a world-weary-yet-wildly-passionate gravel in his voice....

Okay, I dreamt about Taylor Lautner for the past two nights. In the first one we were making out (and he was barely clothed much like in that Bust article!) and then right before I woke up he and I were making plans to secretly date (because he's 17 and I'm 25). I find this odd because I haven't even seen the movie! Damn Twilight Saga being everywhere.
That being said, I echo my previous sentence. That kid is still hot and I would still do him. -------------------- Vixi liber et moriar. |

The Team No Shirts article was the best article I've ever read about this Twilight madness. I was almost choking on my coffee at work. And yes. I haven't seen the movie yet but I totally agree. Even though the photo of Taylor Lautner included in the article was all photoshopped to Hades, he's still on my list. Can't stand the teenage hotness. Good Lawd. Can someone post that article? I haven't seen New Moon, and don't plan to. However, one of my friends saw it and I want to rib her for it. |

So now that I've seen New Moon, I think I will agree with a Bust magazine post a few days ago and say that I'm on 'Team No Shirts'. Yum. What an enjoyable shirtless drool-fest.

I used to think Jude Law was really, really good looking but now I find he's losing it. Maybe it's coinciding with his receding hairline? I don't know. The last film that he really did it for me in was Closer, even though he was pretty whiny and conniving in it (I'm biased though - it's my most favourite film ever).
Speaking of Closer, how have I not mentioned Clive Owen?! Good Gracious, that man is amazing. So ruggedly beautiful. -------------------- Vixi liber et moriar. |

Agreed. And his hamlet was such the cock-wielder. I like me the hesitant, can I carry this heavy crown mother, oh, insert wrists wringing, but break, my heart, for I must hold my tongue hamlet...

See, now, I don't get Jude Law at all. I remember seeing The Talented Mr. Ripley & being completely smitten with PSH's smarmy charm, but I couldn't work up the slightest panty splash over either Law or Matt Damon.

Ok, let's compare notes, AP. I saw Jude Law in Hamlet last month, and I swear he licked his lips when he was signing my playbill. You guys think he wanted to fuck me?
(Oh, I am so full of shit;) But.... my point is, they are both in Gattaca! ETA: Sorry, it's too late, I am not coherent, auntie 7 goes to bed now -------------------- Every story is a cup so empty it can be drunk from again and again. - MJH

I finally watched last week's CSI (I think I may be the only one still watching. I do miss my boo, though.) & I'd like to reiterate that George Eads does have a totally hot ass.
Re: Ethan Hawke. That's because he had to scrub so hard for Gattaca, AP, he still can't get his ph back to 5.5. He's burnt out on personal hygiene. The lack of personal hygiene thing started way back in '93, I saw him in fall of '96 post-shooting Gattaca. I well imagine by then they had to dip him in something caustic to get the gunk off. And seriously, I was surprised he didn't leave a grease stain on my friend's book. That book should have been called The Sweaty Season. QUOTE Re: Mysterious Skin. Intense, yes. But oh JGL is glorious dragging that luggage, AP. And, I AM a creep. (and this is prolly for Survivor Space, or Confessions: I don't remember the last time I've connected deeply with someone who didn't have their cereal scene.) That is exactly why it unnerved me so. It didn't trigger me, but it made me feel very uncomfortable. And I saw it in a theatre in the middle of the afternoon by myself, which didn't help. -------------------- "You're cute, like a velvet glove cast in iron. And like a gas chamber, a real fun gal."

I got giant craters in my american pop-culture, Anna K. I should have checked before doubting your 'dork' title for him.
For the record, I think dork is a good thing;) -------------------- Every story is a cup so empty it can be drunk from again and again. - MJH
