thanks girltrouble! i fixed my old post:P

I read an article today that says that the makers of BSG have been dropping hints all along about who the 5th cylon is... I believe it because when I was catching up on the first 3 seasons, my boyfriend who already knew about the 4 noticed all the hints while i didn't... i just want to know who it is!!!!!

you can find most info about codes here

for spoilers it's super easy, you just put the word 'spoiler' and '/spoiler' in [square brackets].

just that easy!

I cannot believe that they killed Cally. That was very very upsetting. Maybe she'll come back and be a cylon? I wish... the last episode was not one to watch when you were already extremely depressed... but with that said I really liked it. I'm just not sure where it's all going...

ok, yesturdays episdoe was so super fucked up...
i'm glad there was less religious bs, and the whole civil war angle is freaking fantastic. i like this episode much better than the last two-- it was what i loved about the 2nd year of battlestar-- the parallels between what is going on on the show and what is going on in our country. but the end.... that end was soooooooo fucked.

i have the biggest crush on tory/rekha sharma, but wow....

Just saw season opener and generally I thought it was awesome, although I too thought it was a little heavy on the religious stuff. I love that it picked up exactly where it left off last season and brought us right back in again. I increasingly think Saul actually rules and that Lee is an irritating waste of space. I am curious about how they explain Starbuck's trip though...

bumpity!

tonite's season opener was freaking amazin!

i don't know how i felt about the new religious element.... but other than that-- great!

i love that they leave you knowing so much more, but don't have any answers!, and the cylon death stare--- freaking creepy! i can't wait to see how that ends up in future episodes....

I just started watching BSG, and I'm only on season 2 episode 11. I fully plan on finishing all of it before the holidays. I'm trying not to scroll down so I don't read any accidental spoilers, because I'm so far behind!

I never liked sci-fi, but there's just something about this show that pulled me in, and I am soooo addicted.

I agree that Razor is worth watching, not just for filling in the blanks but for a few other reasons which I won't go into here.

I was initially dubious, but 10 minutes in I was sold. It's well paced and nicely suspenseful in its own right. Makes me impatient for the new series already!

Thanks for the advice. I think I am going to wait to see all of season 3 before I get it.

Hello NBC! Release the damn DVDs!

Razor nicely answered a couple of questions I had - mostly, what happened with the crew of the Pegasus? One would have thought there would have been a whole lot more agita with them, considering that the admiral was murdered, the next CO was also murdered, and the third guy was a schlemiel who got himself killed (sort of nobly) - Razor deals with that transition. Also looked at a couple of stories that were told by Pegasus crew members about the time between the attack on the colonies and when they found Galactica again - like the story about how Kane killed a guy for refusing a direct order. V. much worth it, filled in some blank spaces for me and didn't disrupt the ongoing storylines.

it takes place before, durring and after the last season. the new season doesn't start til next year, but i don't think there's any harm in watching it, i don't think it gives too much away, but it's been so long, i can't say for sure....

Hello BSG fans, I have a question. I saw on Netflix that BSG:Razor will be available on DVD before the most recent season. Do In need to the see the recent season to follow Razor or it is a prequel? Thanks for the help.

QUOTE
I didn't think that "cover" sounded anything like All Along the Watchtower. I actually really liked it... they just should have left it instrumental.

I read an interview with the show's music director, who said that this (the song not sounding like Dylan or Hendrix doing the song) was done because it's not necessarily supposed to be a song from Earth. His theory was that it's a universal song--the Colonies have their version, we have ours, just illustrating another link between the two from way back, not showing that those Four have any connection/link up to Earth.

Am I babbling? Yeah, prolly. Am I excited to be back in the Lounge and discussing BSG? Hella yes. tongue.gif

Being on the other side of the atlantic, I *just* saw the season finale (DL'd). I so didn't see the four new cylons coming although the mister saw at least two (Tigh and the chief). (But then, I'm one of those who didn't see the end of Angel Heart either... clearly I subscribe to a surfeit of suspension of disbelief.)

I have to say, I seriously warmed to Tigh post-New Caprica. He was a bastard, but more consistent and better motivated than previously. Sam I really really didn't see coming, although his connection with Tory (again if I had known) is a clear-ass clue.

I love the chief, always have. Personally I thoght Callie was great until she married Tyrell and became a mom in quick succession. Tory makes sense as she's close to power, i.e. Roslyn.

I liked the moment where someone(Sam?) said: 'And that's it. Like a switch was thrown' Goosebumps.

Starbuck I think will be resurrected as something else, some mystical hero. Which I'm afraid of; I don't want it to get too ridiculously mystical. It's clearly a fine line with this lot.

I had so many thoughts on BSG I couldn't post here for a few weeks because I was afraid of spoliers! With this willpower I surely should be able to quit smoking...
