1. Where were you 5 years ago? just out of high school, starting college, living with my parents, living in a nothing north TX town

2. 5 years ago, what did you think you'd be doing now? having a career in.....something

3. How close or far did you come to that mark? I stopped going to school then picked it up again, but my goals are much more focused now, thank goodness

4. Where do you think you'll be 5 years from now? Done with grad school and living in Central TX. Hopefully working in a library or non-profit, either that or traveling the world. Maybe even pregnant or married or both. Making art and writing.

5. When you were a little kid, what did you want to do for a living? I wanted to be a ceramicist like Demi Moore in "Ghost"

6. What was the last book you read all the way through? Fear of Flying by Erica Jong

7. What was the last movie you saw in a theater? Kill Bill II, a long time ago on a date

8. Did you like it as much as you thought you would? It was better than the first

9. What is your favourite piece of furniture in your home? A bed and dresser from Italy, also Italian blankets

10. What is your favourite piece of clothing from your teenage years? An Indian scarf from belly-dancing

12. What was the worst thing about your first paying job? Retail and calluses on my feet

13. What's the best thing about your current job? I'm a temp and all my jobs are in a nice cool office....with mostly grown-ups

15. What physical trait do the bulk of your exes share? Big eyes and glasses. Intellectual and subversive. I've dated 3 Buddhists but that's a coincidence.
