I found this website called Kay Paintings
Kay Paintings that is BEYOND creepy. For 200 dollars or more she photo shops you or your family into creepily surreal pictures with Jesus. I can't put my finger on it but Jesus looks like some actor. The best picture is this one
I think jesus has only one thing in mind for that lady.

For some reason. your links aren't working....
here's a new one.
Wow, that's scary. Kinda looks like Colin Farrell to me. Everyone in those pictures, including Jeebus, is just so photoshopped.

I wonder where they got the real picture of Jeebus?

You had an extra "http://" in the link to part 1. Here's the correct site:

that was hilarious! I liked the one where she said "before you laugh, this was handed down through generations" or something and then said, "and it's 2 boxes of jello and coolwhip. Now you can laugh."

That cookbook is funny. Let me guess, the company is located in the Midwest...?
ETA: I take back my question, but I'm thinking lots of misplaced Midwesterners wrote it.

Yeah, I have the occasional splurge on guilty pleasure white trash food- I had Spaghettios for breakfast this morning...add some of that ubiquitous shredded cheese featured so prominently in that cookbook and you got yerself a meal!

We should all close out eyes, pull 3-4 processed food items out of our cupboards and layer them in a casserole dish, and see what happens. haha it would make for an interesting potluck party.

Hmm, thinking of cans in my cabinet- chili beans with cream of mushroom soup and coconut milk.

Polly, I soooo love it!
This is seriously one of my favourite aspects of american culture.
I'm not being sarcastic. There's such great 1950s charm to this.
I went to a party once, where an american girl made a great onion dip, I wanted to know the recipe, and she said, it's just onion soup powder with sour cream. I thought it was awesome.
In most parts of Europe, the working class has no creativity, when it comes to poverty cuisine.
(My favourite line was "Recommended wine: Beer"

)

I think we talked about those diamonds in the death thread (which has been, er, dead lately!)...I dunno, I think for the right person, it's a good idea. I can't imagine doing it with my mom, but my grandmother would be all for it and I don't think I'd be creeped out about wearing one made out of her. It's just the kind of person she is.

GOODNIGHT BUSH
In the situation room
There was a toy world
And a flight costume
And a picture of- A refinery plume
And there were war profiteers giving three cheers
A nation great
A Church and State
A pair of towers
And a balance of powers
A Grand Old Party to war in a rush
And a quiet Dick Cheney whispering "hush"
