I found this website called Kay Paintings Kay Paintings that is BEYOND creepy. For 200 dollars or more she photo shops you or your family into creepily surreal pictures with Jesus. I can't put my finger on it but Jesus looks like some actor. The best picture is this one
I think jesus has only one thing in mind for that lady.Jesus and lady friend

For some reason. your links aren't working....here's a new one.

Wow, that's scary. Kinda looks like Colin Farrell to me. Everyone in those pictures, including Jeebus, is just so photoshopped.
culturehandy
I wonder where they got the real picture of Jeebus?

Freaky Russian playground sculptures, part 1.
part 2
I think I would have loved that stuff as a kid, but I was definitely a weird kid....

You had an extra "http://" in the link to part 1. Here's the correct site:

Yeah, some of those are pretty much the epitome of "bizarro"!

You know all of the weird phone numbers that show up on your caller ID? I have gotten obsessed with 800Notes to check out what they are.
pollystyrene
I love that site, kitten- I've reported a few numbers there myself.
pollystyrene
Ohhhh noes! Dihydrogen Monoxide will kill us all!

Please scroll down to read the hilarious comments on that nonsense.

There's also a link to "homosexual fashion"
For those, who do not know, that fashion is often designed by homosexuals. laugh.gif

I was going through my old bookmarked sites, and even though I've probably posted this one before, it's too hilarious to not share again.

My favorite part? "And mustard. Because Diana is batshit crazy."
kittenb
I have such white trash eating habits but I do love the excessive use of cheeeeeeese! in those pictures.
hellotampon
that was hilarious! I liked the one where she said "before you laugh, this was handed down through generations" or something and then said, "and it's 2 boxes of jello and coolwhip. Now you can laugh."
lilacwine13
That cookbook is funny. Let me guess, the company is located in the Midwest...?

ETA: I take back my question, but I'm thinking lots of misplaced Midwesterners wrote it.

Yeah, I have the occasional splurge on guilty pleasure white trash food- I had Spaghettios for breakfast this morning...add some of that ubiquitous shredded cheese featured so prominently in that cookbook and you got yerself a meal!

hellotampon
We should all close out eyes, pull 3-4 processed food items out of our cupboards and layer them in a casserole dish, and see what happens. haha it would make for an interesting potluck party.
pollystyrene
Oh cod, that would be hilarious. As long as tater tots could cover all of them!

Hmm, thinking of cans in my cabinet- chili beans with cream of mushroom soup and coconut milk.

Stewed tomatoes with pickled garlic and chick peas.

Polly, I soooo love it!
This is seriously one of my favourite aspects of american culture.
I'm not being sarcastic. There's such great 1950s charm to this.
I went to a party once, where an american girl made a great onion dip, I wanted to know the recipe, and she said, it's just onion soup powder with sour cream. I thought it was awesome.
In most parts of Europe, the working class has no creativity, when it comes to poverty cuisine.

(My favourite line was "Recommended wine: Beer" laugh.gif)

kittenb
I think "poverty cuisine" is gonna be my new favorite phrase when I cook. laugh.gif

Forgive me for pimping myself out, but I have a blog. Two, actually, but one is for my clothing company and one is for myself. The one for me is peppered liberally with the f-bomb, but it's funny, for what it's worth.

It's http://greeneyesblackheart.blogspot.com/, if that rousing sales pitch did it for ya.

crazyoldcatlady

I'll be checking out www.failblog.org as soon as I get outta here.

Alright, I just stumbled upon this

http://www.asylum.com/2008/08/27/x-rated-v...round-near-you/

and am finding the whole page hilarious
pollystyrene
Heeey, could we put a NSFW on that?
pepper
ooh, that failblog is funny!

here's an interestingly creepy bit of yahoo news:

diamonds made from dead people. hokay, some people honestly have way too much time and money on their hands. seesh. donate the dollars to charity when i die and sprinkly my ashes in the lake yo.
pollystyrene
I think we talked about those diamonds in the death thread (which has been, er, dead lately!)...I dunno, I think for the right person, it's a good idea. I can't imagine doing it with my mom, but my grandmother would be all for it and I don't think I'd be creeped out about wearing one made out of her. It's just the kind of person she is.
pepper
here's an interesting little wee movie. this girl makes some nifty creatures out of clay too, check her out.
gluelita
cakewrecks.blogspot.com

oh, cakes. such funny cakes!
zoya
...actually, that's totally what I want done with me when I die. I want to have a gem made of me. I'm not kidding.

We need more cowbell!
shinyx3

culturehandy

I haven't finished this yet, but I feel no hesitation in calling this

The Best Fanfiction Eva!

Harry Potter slash but I think I will appreciate it.
pepper
check out the pics.

based on the Goodnight Moon book.

GOODNIGHT BUSH

In the situation room
There was a toy world
And a flight costume
And a picture of- A refinery plume
And there were war profiteers giving three cheers

A nation great
A Church and State

A pair of towers
And a balance of powers

A Grand Old Party to war in a rush
And a quiet Dick Cheney whispering "hush"
