Ok this is going to sound weird, but I've been waiting for him to die for a long time. Maybe his daughter will publish some of the stuff he's been writing for the last forever so we can finally read it! Poor old Holden Caulfield, RIP.

Alexander McQueen committed suicide. Damm, he was a hell of a designer. Very Brit.

And ex-Congressman Charlie Wilson died! He's that Charlie Wilson, the guy managed to clandestinely fund the Afghans in their fight against the Soviets in the late 1970's and early 1980's. A book was written and Tom Hanks played in the movie "Charlie Wilson's War". Amazing guy. Actually met him once.

Wilma Mankiller just died of cancer she was in her 80's. Rocking lady; Native American, Feminist, human rights activist, Cherokee Elder and Chief.

Malcolm Mclaren died today. 64 years old. Had cancer. He was manager / founder of The Sex Pistols.
