You gotta admit ... there's something endearing about the way he stands there with his little fins crossed in front of him. How do you say "I really believe I've become a penguin," in French?

If there's a hell, I'm going. There's a YouTube with about seven people trying desperately to sing Tina Turner's "Your Simply the Best" in a stadium half time show. It's absolutely wretched, but it's like a train wreck. Upon closer inspection, I realized I was laughing at what I think might be people with special needs. Yes, I'm going to burn.

Okay, upon closer inspection and looking at a different version, I've found that they are not special needs kids but are instead deluded Dutch Idol contestants. I don't feel quite so bad now.

Please tell me those were not the
best people from Dutch Idol!
There was one time where I started watching an episode of ER about halfway through and there was a couple who had just had a baby and it sounded like they had Swedish accents. Someone from social services was involved and they were debating whether or not the couple should be allowed to keep the baby, if they were capable of being parents, and I seriously thought, "Why won't they let the nice Swedish people keep the baby?" Turns out they both had pretty severe Downs Syndrome or mental retardation. Oops.

How I mistook that for just a Swedish accent is beyond me.

Keith Olbermann is a newscaster on MSNBC, with his own show, Countdown With Keith Olbermann, which airs weeknights. He is for real, and yes, that clip DID AIR, as well as a couple of other good ones. For more information, here's Keith's MSNBC page:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3036677/And here is Keith's 9-11 'Special Comment', broadcast in front of the WTC ruins on the 5th anniversary of September 11:

I have the news channels de-programmed from my TV, but I may have to start watching for that guy!
Is there text of that somewhere? My mom still has dial-up and it would take about 10 years to download that, and I want her to see, or read it, if possible.
ETA: They have transcripts on the site...does anyone know what day that aired?
ETAA: Nevermind- picked a day and got lucky!
Here it is...this was his closing comments, to it's all the way at the bottom.
