Our first week of tour with CSS has been sooo fun! We are chasing their bus all over the west coast in our charcoal colored Dodge Caravan. This tour we have a drummer with us which is super duper exciting. Lee Free is our drummer, and he is playing a lot of the percussion samples from our record on live drums. We are super happy with the new texture it brings to the show. Blowtorch is at the sound helm again and we are just thrilled to have the family back together.

Two people came up on stage so far. One of them tried to stage dive, but the crowd wasn't ready. The other one tried to send an email from the computer on stage and really wanted JD to sign her credit card. Pretty hilarious.

We have been hitting up a lot of great restaurants and started a Yelp page so that we can share our fave spots with our fans and the rest of the world. One night we stopped in Butte, Montana at a Thai restaurant called Siam and made friends with the owner. She was so sweet to us and offered us free soda for the journey. We have since called her Mama Siam. And are convinced she is watching out for us on the road.

The scenery changes every couple of hours and we are falling in love with the road again and again. CSS and MEN have decided to have a bowling competition in Detroit so we are stretching our our forearms and getting our hand eye coordination in tact. They feel that as Americans we have had a bit more practice with the sport, and would like to challenge us to a game of 'brazilian football' if we have the chance. We'll see how much time we have. But I suspect there will be a lot more fun coming our way.
