Here, you’ll find six tracks, plus five remixes, and two voices (Madeline Davy and ex-!!! member John Pugh) with one vision: a meat market of ideas colliding and creating one collective ass shake. Avert your ear holes if cohesion is your thing, as their anything-goes aesthetic approximates the atmospheres of sweaty Brooklyn warehouse parties and swank Manhattan art installations in equal measure. Off-kilter post-disco leanings dominate—think Arthur Russell and the Flying Lizards by way of Out Hud and Hot Chip—and the remixes play up the dub and the dance floor. It’s an art-punk explosion to which no sound system will be immune.
