You Must, You Must, You Must Submit to BUST!
We want your stories. C'mon, get it off your chest...
Thursday, November 21, 2002 BUST is currently seeking submissions and pitches for our upcoming issue:

Topic: AGE

Deadline: Dec 2, 2002

We are also always open to off-topic submissions that are BUSTy (feminist, sexy, smart, funny). We are also always interested in pieces for our front of the book sections: Broadcast (interesting pop culture stuff that girls and women are doing); Real Life (Cooking, crafts, cars, careers, etc.); and Looks (independent-minded, feminist-flavored fashion and beauty stuff).

Submissions are best when they're between 1,000 - 2,500 words (or less), but if you've got something longer you can send that too. If you are sending in a pitch, please include clippings of other pieces you have written.

It takes us about 6 weeks from the deadline date to read through all the submissions and make our decisions, but after we're done that we'll let you know the status of your work (so keep your legs crossed!).
