The snarky, sassy and totally vulgar comedian, Sarah Silverman explains the fucked up voter ID laws in this hilarious video promoting the Let My People Vote 2012 campaign. 

 She explains that the new state voter ID laws put into effect supposedly to prevent voter fraud.  But, “this attempt to prevent voter fraud,” as Silverman puts it,  “is itself the only voter fraud taking place!”  

Silverman explains how these laws prevent students in these states to use their school IDs to vote, but anyone can use their firearm permits. 

 “It just makes sense, you know, when you think about it,” she says before teaching Nana how to hold a gun gangster style.  “Cars cost tens of thousands of dollars, but if you get a gun, you can get a ride virtually anywhere!”

Check out the real and revealing video where Silverman’s faux argument with a war vet who lost his legs in combat leads her to confess to having some sort of yellow discharge…Yeah, it gets awkward, but that’s her style.
