Fort Worth Texas’s Funky Finds has been “dedicated to promoting indie artists, crafters & designers worldwide” since 2006. The vintage company hosts a variety of semi-annual art and craft shows in Ft. Worth, and they sponsor events around the globe as well. In addition to promoting handmade products, they also support charities, like the child advocacy group, CASA of Tarrant County. So far, Funky Finds has raised over $15,000 for local charities through raffles at their events!

Since we all love ~*da crafts*~ here at BUST, we thought that Funky Finds’ upcoming event is super sweet, and needed to be showcased. On November 9th and 10th, the company will be holding their Funky Finds Holiday Shopping Experience. The FREE (yep, das right!) indoor event will feature over 120 independent artists, crafters, and designers. The event will also hold a charity raffle that will benefit both Toys for Tots and The Humane Society of North Texas

Raffle tickets will be sold for $1.00, but to snag a free raffle ticket, you can donate a new, unwrapped toy to Toys for Tots! Also, the first 75 attendees that purchase ten or more tickets each day of the event will score a Funky Finds swag bag! Inside will be a bunch of funky products, and an issue of BUST Magazine! This bag is totes shaweeeet!

The Humane Society will also have on site pet adoptions, and the Marines will be accepting toy donations at the Holiday Shopping Experience.

Funky Finds is also holding their first pre-event mixer in honor of their shopping extravaganza. The mixer will be on Thursday, November 7th from 6-9PM, and it is open to the public. There’ll be free food, drinks, and a chance to win some awesome prizes! It’ll be held at Lola's Saloon, 2736 W. 6th Street, Fort Worth. To attend, RSVP by November 1st on their Facebook event page, or email info@funkyfinds.com.

The Funky Finds Holiday Shopping Experience will be goin’ down on November 9th (Saturday) from 10AM- 5PM, and November 10th (Sunday) from 11AM- 4PM. It will also take place at the Small Exhibits Building in the William Rogers Memorial Center (3409 Burnett-Tandy Dr., Ft. Worth 76107).
