About Urban Sprig Urban Sprig, like most sprigs, started as a seed-- an idea born out of the of the experience of becoming a parent. Stephanie Chastain created Urban Sprig as both a resource guide for new parents and a place to find a shared sense of community. Urban Sprig hopes to elevate the conversations that are already happening in playgrounds around the Bay Area, while bringing parents informative, fresh content.
